College of Law

The College of Law has appointed Martin Polaine as one of its practitioner lecturers/tutors for its LLM course on ASEAN +6 International Trade & Investment Law and Practice. The lectures are scheduled to start later this week.

The College of Law programme focuses on the ASEAN+6 region with an emphasis on cross-border legal practice.

The course is a practice-based LLM developed ‘for practitioners, by practitioners’ and will provide a practical and interactive learning experience for the students. The College of Law approach helps students to work through a combination of practical case studies, self-assessments and tutorials.

ASEAN: Association of Southeast Asian Nations, which founded the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.

ASEAN Member States: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

ASEAN+6 Nations: Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea and New Zealand.
