Martin Polaine was engaged as an expert/speaker for the two-day conference organised by the EU/CoE Joint Programme on Controlling Corruption through Law Enforcement and Prevention (CLEP). The project aims to improve the anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and assets recovery frameworks in the Republic of Moldova.
Martin led the discussion sessions on asset freezing & seizure and international co-operation, which examined practical challenges faced by practitioners globally, how those have been overcome and lessons identified, with a view to assisting practitioners in Moldova in building their expertise.
