Arvinder Sambei was engaged by UNODC GMCP to develop, design, and deliver the 5th Prosecutor Network for Maritime Enforcement (PNME) Meeting in Langkawi for prosecutors from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The aim of the event was to facilitate dialogue and exchange experiences on the handling and case management of maritime cases, in particular, IUU fishing by prosecutors from each of the countries. Initial discussions amongst prosecutors were followed by a Table Top Exercise (TTX) during which prosecutors joined the maritime and law enforcement agencies of their respective countries to work through a practical case study.
