Amicus, in partnership with the National Institute for Internal Control of Romania (INCIR), DLA Piper (Romania) and Reff & Associates (Romania) held a one day forum for senior compliance officers, lawyers, General Counsel, auditors, and internal control professionals on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) due to come into force on 25 May 2018.
The one day discussion forum worked through some of key aspects of GDPR regulation and set out practical solutions for its implementation by companies and institutions in Romania.
Arvinder Sambei of Amicus opened the forum with an overview of the GDPR, its aims & objectives and the role of the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
